Services
Where we can assist, and where we can’t.
We offer independent guidance on home internet, Wi-Fi and everyday connectivity. We do not sell internet service, and we do not publish plans, prices or coverage maps.

Guidance area
Home Internet
Home internet comes wrapped in unfamiliar terms. We help translate them into what they mean for your household, so that the conversation with a provider who serves your address starts from what you actually need.
What we help with
- Getting to know the types of home internet people commonly come across
- Preparing questions about availability, equipment and terms
- Reading through an offer you have already been given
Wi-Fi and Connected Living
In many homes, phones, laptops, TVs, speakers and smart gadgets all lean on one network. We give general guidance on common Wi-Fi questions, so you know what is worth trying and what belongs with your provider.

- 01
Everyday Wi-Fi questions, from router placement to busy households
- 02
Making sense of the equipment terms you may meet
- 03
What to ask when something at home keeps dropping off

Internet Options for Work and Everyday Use
Working from home, studying, joining calls and getting through daily errands each lean on a connection differently. We help you describe your routine clearly, so you can have a better conversation with a provider about what suits it.
What we help with
- Describing your day-to-day use in terms a provider can answer
- Understanding common considerations for remote work and study
- Planning the next step once you know what you are looking for
Exploring options for your location
What is available depends on where you live.
Providers decide what they offer at each address, and that changes from street to street. We can’t confirm availability for you, but we can help you prepare and know what to ask.
It helps to have these to hand
- 01Your ZIP or postal code, so we can talk about options for your area
- 02Who uses the internet at home, and roughly how many devices are online
- 03What it is used for: work, study, streaming, gaming, smart-home gadgets
- 04What is frustrating you today, or what you are hoping to change
- 05Any offer or document you have already received from a provider
Good to know
About our services.
Availability, speeds, equipment and terms depend on the provider and your location.
That is decided by the providers who serve your location, and it can change from one street to the next. We can walk you through the kinds of options people commonly meet and what to ask, but your providers determine what is actually offered at your address.
Yes. Tell us what your household does online and what is bothering you, and we will help you think it through in plain language. The decision, and the arrangement with the provider, stay with you.
No. Availability, speeds, equipment and terms vary with the provider and your location, so what exists in one place may not exist in another.
Yes. Your provider’s billing carries on exactly as before. Our fee pays for our assistance; it does not replace, reduce or change what you owe your provider.
No. We give general guidance and informational support. Since we do not run your provider’s network or equipment, we cannot promise a particular technical result.
